Dangers and the Proper use of laser pointers

“Laser pointer” is a handy laser device that emits laser radiation in the visible range. The laser beam is monochromatic (very narrow band wavelength) and is characterized by a low divergence angle (high directionality), and a high power density (power per unit area) .
