General

Upon entering the Technion campus one must either fill out a Health Statement or present a ‘Green Pass’.

Sports and recreational courses will continue to operate according to the ‘Purple Badge’ guidelines currently allowing up to 20 people in a closed space while maintaining a 2-meter distance, wearing masks in closed spaces, and practicing good hygiene.

Instruction laboratories and workshops will continue to operate according to the ‘Purple Badge’ guidelines, as detailed in section #2 herein.

Classes and studential spaces will operate according to the ‘Green Pass’ guidelines, as detailed in sections #3-#4 herein.

Instruction Laboratories / Workshops

Instruction laboratories / workshops conducting practical training using infrastructure / equipment will operate according to the ‘Purple Badge’ guidelines currently allowing up to 20 people in a closed space while maintaining a 2-meter distance, wearing masks, and practicing good hygiene.

Dorms’ residents who are not in a possession of a ‘Green Pass’ will fill out a Health Statement prior entering an instruction laboratory / workshop. A student absent of a proper verification will be held accountable to the disciplinary board

A face mask will be worn throughout the instruction laboratory / workshop.

Eating / drinking is strictly forbidden.

Each room will include at least one disinfection stand.

Meticulous disinfection of communal equipment will be exercised at the beginning of each instruction lab / workshop, while changing student groups and at the end of each class.

Studential Spaces / Libraries

Entrance is allowed to ‘Green Pass’ students only.

Maximum occupancy is calculated according to 1 person per 7 m^2 (customary signage will be posted on each entry).

Students will be asked to present their ‘Green Pass’ printout.

The library director or someone on his/hers behalf will supervise entries.

Security will be involved in case of a forbidden number of occupants.

Classrooms

Entrance is allowed to ‘Green Pass’ students only.

The number of students on each class will be calculated by the harshest relevant option of the following:

  1. Up to 75% occupancy.
  2. Max: 300 people.
  3. Alternating chairs occupancy.

The chairs in each classroom will be marked so that students will be allowed to sit only in designated seats.

The students will be asked to present their ‘Green Pass’ printout on their desks.

Students must wear face masks throughout the class.

The lecturer will be allowed to lecture without a mask and wear it again upon cessation of the lecture.

Students will maintain a 2-meter distance throughout the class.

Every classroom will be marked by a 2-4 meter separation distance between the student and the lecturer.

Security will be involved in case of a forbidden number of occupants.
